Cats Fall to Cards
Teddy Bridgewater threw two touchdown passes as Louisville held off Kentucky in a 24-17 victory on Saturday night that ended a four-game losing skid to its in-state rival. Bridgewater took over early in the second quarter after Will Stein left the field with a shoulder injury. He threw a 25-yard touchdown to DeVante Parker to give the Cardinals (2-1) a 14-3 lead with 1:16 before halftime. Bridgewater connected with Josh Bellamy on another 25-yard touchdown to extend the lead to 24-10 with 11:15 left.
