Vaccine Information for Students
LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 24, 2021) — As of May, 60% of University of Kentucky students are vaccinated. While vaccines are not mandatory, they are strongly encouraged.
To maximize your safety and that of others, and to take advantage of all campus resources and privileges, students should get vaccinated.
UK accepts all World Health Organization approved vaccines, which includes Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson vaccines, regardless of whether or not you received the vaccine from UK HealthCare. Be sure to verify your vaccination status with the university so that requirements for testing and screening can be modified.
New and returning students are eligible to receive a vaccine, free of charge, at UK HealthCare facilities. You can register for your vaccine today at ukvaccine.org and choose from the following locations:
University Health Pharmacy
- 9 a.m.-4 p.m., 830 South Limestone
Turfland Retail Pharmacy
- 9 a.m.-6 p.m., 2195 Harrodsburg Road
Alumni Park Plaza
- 8 a.m.-4 p.m., 2317 Alumni Park Plaza. This site includes a drive-thru option as well.
Kentucky Clinic Pharmacy
- 9 a.m.-6 p.m., Kentucky Clinic Building, 740 S. Limestone
