December Grads Can Order Caps, Gowns

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 22, 2010) - More than 300 undergraduate students and about 70 graduate students have already indicated they will participate in the University of Kentucky's first December Commencement ceremonies Friday, Dec. 17. The graduate ceremony will take place at 3 p.m. in the Concert Hall of the Singletary Center for the Arts, and the undergraduate ceremony will take place at 6 p.m. in Memorial Coliseum.

Students who graduated in August 2010 or will graduate in December can still RSVP to participate in the ceremonies by visiting the Commencement website. 

Official University of Kentucky graduation regalia is available for purchase at the UK Bookstore located in the Student Center. The bookstore will host a Grad Expo from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27 and Thursday, Oct. 28. Graduating students will be able to purchase their cap and gown, personalized announcements, diploma frames, class rings and more.
