LEXINGTON, Ky. (Jan. 29, 2025) — University of Kentucky Alumni Association Alumni Career Services is excited to announce “Reignite Your Career: A Women’s Workshop.” The three-part, in-person series is designed to help women at pivotal moments in their professional lives. Sessions will be held Thursday evenings — Jan. 30, Feb. 6 and Feb. 13 — from 6 to 8 p.m. ET at the UK Stuckert Career Center, located at 408 Rose Street in Lexington.

The workshop is a soul-searching, career-exploration group for women at a crossroads, whether returning to the workforce or seeking a new direction. Through small group discussions, self-reflection and journal exercises, personalized assessments and a rich personal discovery curriculum, participants will gain valuable insights to navigate their career paths with confidence.

This event is for people uncertain about their future career path, returning from a work hiatus, embarking on a job hunt, exploring alternate careers in semi-retirement, or feeling trapped in an unfulfilling job.

Attendance at all three in-person workshop sessions is strongly encouraged. The cost to attend the series is $75 and includes dinner each evening. Space is limited and all genders are welcome.

As the state’s flagship, land-grant institution, the University of Kentucky exists to advance the Commonwealth. We do that by preparing the next generation of leaders — placing students at the heart of everything we do — and transforming the lives of Kentuckians through education, research and creative work, service and health care. We pride ourselves on being a catalyst for breakthroughs and a force for healing, a place where ingenuity unfolds. It's all made possible by our people — visionaries, disruptors and pioneers — who make up 200 academic programs, a $476.5 million research and development enterprise and a world-class medical center, all on one campus.
