‘UK at the Half’: Connecting the arts and health

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 25, 2025) — The University of Kentucky’s Dmitry Strakovsky is fostering collaborations between creative disciplines and health care professionals through an innovative initiative.
Creative Link for Advancing Digital Health (Creative Link) brings together multidisciplinary teams to take on big challenges in STEM + H Education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math and Health Sciences) and supports commercialization efforts aimed at making real differences in healthcare in Kentucky and across the country.

Strakovsky, an associate professor in the School of Art and Visual Studies in UK’s College of Fine Arts, leads the Creative Link initiative which is funded by the Office of Vice President for Research Emerging Themes for Research Program.
