LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 10, 2026) — Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) announced today that its partners raised $1,702,279.01 for Golisano Children’s at UK in 2025.
CMN partners, led by Walmart, Speedway, Valvoline Instant Oil Change, Phi Mu Sorority and Dairy Queen, once again stepped up to support Kentucky’s most vulnerable children and families. Rooted in the communities they serve, these organizations go above and beyond to support their neighbors, classmates and friends who rely on care at UK Golisano Children’s.
“Every donation our customers and associates make is a reminder of how connected we are to the families in our communities,” said Jamie Campbell, market manager at Walmart. “Knowing those dollars stay local and help children right here in Kentucky is something our teams truly take pride in.”
Funds raised by Children’s Miracle Network partners support several projects at the children’s hospital including animal therapy, providing sensory items to clinics and lifesaving research.
“Our patients come to us from every corner of the Commonwealth — the same communities where our CMN partners live and work,” said Scottie B. Day, M.D., physician‑in‑chief at UK Golisano Children’s. “Their support allows us to care for their friends, family members and neighbors, ensuring children across Kentucky have access to the care they need, close to home.”
More than 30 partner companies support UK Golisano Children’s through CMN campaigns, including selling Miracle Balloons, hosting events and asking customers to “round up” or donate change at the register.
With local CMN partner dollars, UK Golisano Children’s has renovated and transformed hospital spaces in partnership with Walmart, Speedway, Valvoline Instant Oil Change, McLane and Panda Express. Support from CMN partners also helped fund the renovation and expansion of services at the Golisano Children’s at UK Richmond Road Clinic.
Other CMN-funded projects for UK Golisano Children’s include:
- Transforming an underused area in the hospital into the Valvoline Instant Oil Change Family Lounge, located outside the pediatric intensive care unit
- Providing colorful child-sized blankets to kids before surgery
- Purchase of respiratory equipment not covered by insurance for patients with cystic fibrosis and asthma
- Icee Machine in the children’s surgery center
- Stuffed animals to comfort children undergoing diagnostic imaging
- The UK Play Café to help with social skills for children with autism and ADHD
