Welcome to the Majestic World of Jenna Marbles

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 3, 2017) — The Student Activities Board is excited to announce that YouTube sensation, Jenna Marbles, will be coming to the University of Kentucky campus 7 p.m. Oct. 13, in the Kincaid Auditorium of Gatton College of Business and Economics. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. on the day of the show.

Jenna Marbles is a YouTube personality, vlogger, comedian and actress. Her YouTube channel has recently been recognized as the second most popular channel operated by a woman as it has accumulated over 2 billion video views and 17 million subscribers. She’s known for comedically documenting her life with friends, family and her two dogs, Mr. Marbles and Kermit. During this event, students will be able to engage in a moderated discussion with Jenna Marbles and learn about how she turned her social media platforms into a career.

“I'm really excited to have the opportunity to bring one of the most famous female YouTubers on the internet to our campus. Jenna is going to bring many engaging insights on building a brand and a career through social media,” said Siera Arena, director of Pop Culture. “She also sets an amazing example for how you can be successful in nontraditional career paths after leaving higher education. I think the students will love hearing from her and I can't wait to witness the impact it will have on them!”

This event is free, but will be ticketed as limited seats are available. In-person ticket pick-up is available now at the Student Involvement Box Office in Bowman’s Den. UK Students may present up to four valid student IDs to receive up to four tickets. Online tickets will be available to all at http://boxoffice.uky.edu starting 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 4.
