Construction to Impact Parking Structure #1 Aug. 19-24

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 17, 2012) ― Due to routine maintenance, the top floor of University of Kentucky Parking Structure #1, located at the corner of Cooper and University Drives, will be closed Sunday, Aug. 19 through Friday, Aug. 24. UK Parking and Transportation Services says the project involves a membrane recoat of the roof, and will impact approximately 200 parking spaces.

Employees who normally park in the garage should allow extra time in arriving to work. Visit www.uky.edu/pts/parking-info_parking-maps to view the campus parking map and identify alternate parking locations.

The project is expected to be completed by Friday, Aug. 24. However, construction is weather-dependent and the timetable may change.
