UK Staff Votes for Next Board Representative

LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 22, 2010) – Over the next few weeks, Universtiy of Kentucky staff members have the important responsibility to choose their representative to the Board of Trustees. Voting in the primary election, which will narrow the candidates to two individuals for the general election, is under way. The general election will be held in May.

This year, the staff trustee election has three candidates, Michael Adams, Jann Burks and Sheila Brothers, all current or former senators of UK’s Staff Senate. The elected staff member will serve a term of three years.
