UK Forestry Professor Featured in The Economist

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 1, 2012) – Reforestation efforts in Appalachia, led by University of Kentucky Associate Professor of Forest Hydrology Christopher Barton, are featured in the latest online issue of The Economist. Barton, who earned his Ph.D. in Soil Science from UK in 1999, joined the faculty of the Department of Forestry, part of the College of Agriculture, nine years ago.
