Boone Center Grill Offers Students a Special Deal

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 24, 2017) ― University of Kentucky students can receive a free side item when they purchase an entrée — burger, sandwich, salad — at the Boone Center Grill (BCG) through Aug. 31, 2017. The BCG is located on the terrace at the Hilary J. Boone Center and is open to all for lunch 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday, weather permitting, and the Plus Account is accepted. The BCG serves fresh food that is free of GMOs and nitrates/nitrites with a number of ingredients locally sourced. 

Although student memberships are not available, student groups may go through departments to reserve the Boone Center for university-related events. UK faculty and staff may join now for $50 dollars year-round, and dues are $20 a month and may be payroll-deducted. 

The university club is also now offering gift cards. Previously, gift certificates were available. Gift cards may be purchased in any dollar amount at the reception desk or from a server. 

The Boone Center is located at the corner of Rose Street and Columbia Avenue across from the Chemistry-Physics Building and next to the Mining and Mineral Resources Building.
