Kickstart Homecoming Weekend With the Street Fair
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 4, 2017) — The Student Activities Board (SAB) and STAT/Team Wildcat will host the fourth annual Homecoming Street Fair 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 5, at the area around the Wildcat Alumni Plaza and the Bowman’s Den lawn. Kick off homecoming weekend with inflatables, free food, games, entertainment, raffle prizes for STAT/Team Wildcat members, special guests and so much more.
“We are very excited about the collaboration between STAT/Team Wildcat and SAB,” said Emilee Hurt, homecoming coordinator for STAT/Team Wildcat. “We are hoping to have a great turn out with the new location!”
Street Fair is a highly anticipated event after the success from the the previous three years. Students can enjoy music from DJ Warren Peace, a variety of inflatables and games, receive a special homecoming T-shirt, and get hyped with fellow classmates in preparation of the big game on Saturday!
“Street Fair is all about fun,” said Nickie Cashdollar, director of Traditions. “I love celebrating homecoming week with special guests, food, inflatables and more. DJ Warren Peace really brings the street to life!”
