Looking for Love? Try SAB’s Mr. and Ms. Eligible

 LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 13, 2010) – Are you looking for Mr. or Ms. Right? Don’t want to give into one of those dating sites? Then Mr. and Ms. Eligible is the event for you! Mr. and Ms. Eligible for the LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) community will take place at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 14, in the Cat’s Den. This event is free and sponsored by the Student Activities Board (SAB).

Based off of a couple of popular TV dating game shows, Mr. and Ms. Eligible will give UK students the chance to find their mister or misses right with this fun, interactive dating game show. Any student can be a contestant. To sign up, go to http://www.uksab.org/MrMsEligibleSignUp.

This event will be the last of the three-part homegrown Mr. and Ms. Eligible series. One portion of the show will be for a boy seeking a boy and the other portion for a girl seeking a girl. The final couples will receive a date night gift package.

Chelsea Melchor, director of SAB’s pop culture committee said, “Mr. and Mrs. Eligible will be a fun and different way for students to get to know each other and learn about dating in college.”
