6 ways to prep for the UK All Majors Virtual Career Fair

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 31, 2022) — Looking for an internship or a full-time job after graduation? The All Majors Virtual Career Fair is for you! Meet with employers one-on-one or in a group. This fair will take place from 2-6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, via Handshake.

Here are six things you can do to help you prepare for the fair:

1. Update and upload resume to your Handshake account.

2. Make your Handshake account profile public.

3. Research employers.

4. Schedule virtual career sessions with employers.

5. Connect with recruiters on LinkedIn.

6. Develop/practice your eelevator pitch."

The Fall 2022 All Majors Virtual Career Fair is being offered to you through the University of Kentucky's Office for Student Success in collaboration with the Career and Co-op office in the College of Engineering, the Graham Career Management Office in the Gatton College of Business and Economics and the Stuckert Career Center.
