Roth Pitches No. 3 S. Carolina to Series-Opening Win
After Kentucky junior starter Alex Meyer allowed two runs in the first inning the right-hander settled in and tossed a complete-game outing, but No. 3 South Carolina rode a dominating performance from junior southpaw Michael Roth to a 3-1 series-opening win, on a gorgeous Friday night, in front of 7,063 fans at Carolina Stadium.
