Boone Center to Host 'See Blue Friday' Home Game Celebrations
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 21, 2012) — The Hilary J. Boone Center at the University of Kentucky will host "See Blue Fridays" from 4-7 p.m. on Fridays prior to home football games, beginning Sept. 28. Other dates will be Oct. 5, Oct. 19, Nov. 2 and Nov. 16.
A $12 dinner buffet will be available, in addition to special drink pricing, which will include the "Go Cats" blue drink for $3, Blue Spirit shooters for $2, domestic beer for $1.50, imported beer for $2 and glasses of wine for $3.
Fun activities will be available during the See Blue Friday Home Game celebrations, including a s’mores bar, cornhole, spin-the-wheel, prizes and campus celebrity bartenders.
"Supporting our athletics teams and celebrating our school spirit is not only part of our mission, but a whole lot of fun too," said Gerald Marvel, Boone Center general manager.
Reservations are not required but are available by calling (859) 257-1133. Membership is not required to attend the See Blue Friday home game celebrations. The entire UK campus community is welcome.
