Daily Allergy Reports Now Available

LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 14, 2010) – The University of Kentucky is now providing daily pollen and mold count reports for 2010. The information is available at http://www.ukhealthcare.uky.edu/allergy/index.asp. Area media outlets may use the information at this site and attribute it to the UK HealthCare Asthma, Allergy, and Sinus Clinic. 

UK is the official pollen and mold spore counting station of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology sponsored by the National Allergy Bureau.  Data is collected daily by clinical microbiologists certified by the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology.  The UK Asthma, Allergy and Sinus Clinic is a comprehensive unit and regional referral center for adult and pediatric asthma, allergy and immunology patients. Specialized care is provided in the treatment and diagnosis of pediatric and adult patients with upper and lower airway disease, food allergies, allergic sinusitis, rashes and immunodeficiency.
