IHOP Event for Kentucky Children's Hospital

LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 1, 2011) − Support Kentucky Children’s Hospital by joining IHOP for free pancakes in celebration of National Pancake Day from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, at the IHOP restaurant located at 2306 Palumbo Drive in Lexington.

Families and friends can enjoy a free short stack of IHOP’s famous buttermilk pancakes, and in turn, make a donation to IHOP’s national charity partner, the Children’s Miracle Network, which helps improve the lives of children at the 170 Children’s Miracle Network hospitals nationwide. One-hundred percent of the funds raised locally will benefit Kentucky Children’s Hospital, a Children’s Miracle Network hospital.

“We are so pleased to partner with IHOP for National Pancake Day," said Aimee Baston, manager of Annual Giving at Kentucky Children’s Hospital. "They have been a wonderful supporter of Kentucky Children’s Hospital for several years. What could be better than free pancakes to help the children of Kentucky?”

Since beginning its National Pancake Day celebration in 2006, IHOP has raised $5.35 million for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and other local charities and given away more than 10.1 million buttermilk pancakes.
