UK Retail Pharmacies Offer Mail Delivery for Most Prescriptions
LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 18, 2020) – As a reminder to the community, UK Retail Pharmacies offer mail delivery of prescriptions at no extra cost. The service is available for nearly all medications, and most refills requested by 11 a.m. weekdays are sent the same day.
This offer is open to any patients, not just those at UK HealthCare. If your prescriptions are currently at another pharmacy, UK Retail Pharmacies can help you transfer them. Call the location of your choice to request this service.
UK Retail Pharmacies also offer:
- Many medications just $4 for a 30-day supply.
- Half-off most copays (up to $60) for UK Health Plans (UK-HMO/PPO) members when the prescription is written by a UK provider.
- Free medication counseling on request.
To request a refill, download the free Refill Pro app for iPhone or Android and follow the easy instructions. There is a place in the app to request mail delivery.
Patients can also call one of the UK Retail Pharmacies locations for refills. Have your prescription number handy (located on your medication bottle).

*The University Health Service location does not provide mail service at this time. For patients with prescriptions previously filled at the University Health pharmacy, call one of the other locations listed above to transfer prescriptions for mail delivery.
