Career Fair to Impact North Campus Parking

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 6, 2009) -- From Wednesday, Oct. 7 through Friday, Oct. 9, the 2009 Career Fair will significantly increase visitor parking on north campus. This will affect parking availability for students and employees who normally park in Parking Structure #5, next to Kennedy Book Store.

The top floor of the parking structure will be reserved for career fair vendors on Oct. 7 and Oct. 8. The floor consists of 139 parking spaces.

If the structure is full, employees with valid permits may park in another E lot. Students with C5 permits should call (859) 257-9680 or contact the Parking Structure #5 office, located on the first floor, via intercom or an in-person visit, for alternate parking options.

Employees and students should plan accordingly and allow extra time in arriving to work or class.

Members of the campus community are encouraged to tune into 1700 AM (WQKH 253) to hear campus parking and transportation information. The station broadcasts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
