Holly Jolly Postcards on Exhibit

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Dec. 17, 2009) − The public is invited to check out an online exhibition of a collection of postcards celebrating the holiday season from the University of Kentucky Special Collections and Digital Programs.

The holiday postcards exhibit is the subject of a blog entry titled "Celebrating the Holidays: postcards from 100 years ago" on the blog Curiosities & Wonders, which showcases news and interesting items from UK Archives and the Louie B. Nunn Center for Oral History.

The online exhibit is comprised of a slideshow highlighting images of postcards celebrating Christmas and New Year's from around the world. The slideshow was curated by Jeff Suchanek and Gary Chaffee, and scanned by Lewis Warden.
