PTS Announces Parking and Shuttle Changes for Thanksgiving Break

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 25, 2014) — Beginning Wednesday, Nov. 26, Parking and Transportation Services’ (PTS) operations will have several changes due to the decreased demand over the Thanksgiving holiday.

On Wednesday, Nov. 26, the regular CATS routes (Red, Blue and Night) and Lextran Stadium Route service will not be running. CATS buses will operate on the Summer/Break Route schedule from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. The UK HealthCare and Kentucky Clinic Shuttle Routes will operate as normal.

No campus buses will run Thursday, Nov. 27 through Saturday, Nov. 29. On Sunday, Nov. 30, the CATS Bus On-Demand Service will operate during its normal service hours of 7 p.m. to midnight. All other campus bus service will resume a normal schedule Monday, Dec. 1.

Campus parking lots will not be controlled for parking permits Thursday, Nov. 27 and Friday, Nov. 28.
