UK, UK HealthCare impacted by Crowdstrike cyber incident

LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 19, 2024) — The University of Kentucky, including UK HealthCare hospitals and clinics, is experiencing some disruptions due to issues with the cybersecurity platform Crowdstrike. The issue is impacting businesses and systems worldwide. Teams throughout UK and the academic health system are continuing to assess the situation and working to minimize the impact to patient care and patient care activities.

At this time, systems impacted include some Microsoft Windows desktops and servers.
