Men's Golf uses Strong Second Round to Climb into Fourth
It was a tale of two rounds for the University of Kentucky men's golf team on Monday in the opening day of the Saint Mary's Invitational. The Wildcats started slow early, shooting a 17-over-par first round and found themselves in 10th place. UK came roaring out of the gates in the second round, firing a tournament best on the day of 6-under-par 282. The Cats climbed six spots to fourth position and are within striking distance, just 10 strokes off the pace heading into the final round on Tuesday.
