UK closed Tuesday, Feb. 11; UK HealthCare remains open

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 11, 2025) — In the interest of the safety and well-being of the campus community, the University of Kentucky is closed on Tuesday, Feb. 11, due to inclement weather. UK HealthCare facilities remain open and are operating on regular schedule.

In-person classes and activities are canceled. If students have questions about their online class status, they should contact their instructor.    

University Plan B (designated) employees are to report to work. Designated employees via remote access should work remotely during Plan B operations. If employees have questions about procedures for their work, they should contact their manager. 

Facilities crews are working hard to clear roads, parking lots and sidewalks. If you are on campus, please exercise caution and view tips to navigate campus safely, including maps showing the first sidewalks to be cleared during winter weather.
