Textbook Orders Due April 1

LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 26, 2010) – Faculty or staff employees responsible for processing textbook orders must submit all textbook orders and requests for other instructional materials for the upcoming summer terms and fall semester no later than April 1.

As stated in University of Kentucky Business Procedures Manual C-1-1, all instructional materials used in all courses must be submitted to the textbook information listserv via the Web-based form available at www.uky.edu/AuxServ/textbookinfo for distribution to each of the bookstores.

Submitting textbook orders has a direct financial impact on UK students. Submitting textbook orders now will help ensure that students get the fairest value for books they choose to sell back. In addition, the number of used books UK can offer our students at the beginning of each term is directly impacted by having a longer period of time to locate the needed quantities.
