UK Law Prof Discusses Hurricane's Impact on Election 2012

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 31, 2012) — University of Kentucky College of Law Professor Joshua A. Douglas will be discussing the upcoming presidential election, and the impact of Hurricane Sandy on election proceedings, at 12:30 p.m. EDT today on HuffPost Live, a streaming video network run by The Huffington Post.
Douglas joined the UK Law faculty in 2010. He teaches election law, civil procedure, and a seminar on Supreme Court decision making. He focuses his research on election law. In particular, his articles have explored vote counting rules and disputes, judicial interaction with the election process, and procedural aspects of election law cases. His work has been cited extensively in major law review articles and case books in the field. He is also co-authoring a new election law case book.
