CCTS Asks Researchers to Take Survey on Human Tissue Procedures

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 2, 2012) — The University of Kentucky Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCTS) is reaching out to researchers on campus to ask them to take a quick survey about access to human tissue samples. The survey is designed for any member of the university community who participates in biomedical research.

The aim of the survey is to enable the CCTS Biospecimens Core, led by Ken Campbell of the UK College of Medicine Department of Physiology and the Center for Muscle Biology and Pete Nelson of the Department of Pathology and the UK Sanders-Brown Center on Aging, to facilitate translational research by providing optimal access to useful human tissue samples.
