Sanders-Brown’s Greg Jicha to be guest on ‘Understanding Alzheimer’s and Dementia: A KET Forum’
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 27, 2024) — Just like the rest of the human body, the brain changes as it ages. Most people eventually notice some slowed thinking and occasional memory problems. However, serious memory loss, confusion and other major changes in the way the mind works could be a troubling sign that brain cells are failing.
On “Understanding Alzheimer’s and Dementia: A KET Forum,” host Wayne Tuckson, M.D., and panel of medical experts examine the topic of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, discussing the latest science on treatments, screenings and resources. University of Kentucky’s Greg Jicha, M.D., Ph.D., will be featured on the panel. Jicha is the director of clinical trials at UK’s Sanders-Brown Center on Aging.
“Understanding Alzheimer’s and Dementia: A KET Forum” will air at 8 p.m. EST Sept. 30 on KET.
