Calling All Student Artists!

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 28, 2009) - The Peer Resource Team (PRT) is inviting all UK graduate and undergraduate artists to submit their original work to PRT's second annual "Call to Artists." Selected pieces will be displayed in the Center for Student Involvement (CSI), Room 106 Student Center, throughout the fall semester.

Students are invited to submit any 2-D artwork that is no more than four-feet long on any side electronically by 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 5. Winners will be announced on Wednesday, Oct 7. The artwork will go on display the week of Oct. 12 and remain in the CSI until the beginning of next semester.

Please e-mail submissions with up to three digital images to prt@ukleadership.org. Photos should be in JPG format and must be 72 DPI and no longer than 10 inches on either side. Title your JPG photos with your last name, followed by the title of your work. Please include the following information in your entry e-mail: name of artist, title of work, medium (type of art), actual size of work, e-mail address and phone number.

The PRT is in its second year and works to encourage student involvement and collaboration between student organizations. Students who would like to be more involved on campus can schedule individual consultations with PRT members.
