Heart Walk to Impact Stadium Parking

LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 22, 2010) - On Saturday, April 24, the American Heart Association Heart Walk will impact parking and traffic on the south side of campus.

The Heart Walk will begin and end in the southwest corner of the Blue Lot at Commonwealth Stadium. Students who normally park in the vicinity should move their vehicles by 8 a.m. on Saturday.

Event organizers are expecting nearly 2,500 people at the walk. The walkers will head down University Drive at both the start and end of their route. Members of the university community who normally park their vehicles on University Drive are advised that they will not be able to move their vehicles between approximately 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on the day of the event. University Drive will be closed to through traffic at this time.
