First Massage on the Go This Semester
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 7, 2009) – Is the stress of the semester starting to get to you? If your body is starting to feel a little tense, come to Blazer Dining Hall between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, for a free five minute massage!
This is the first of three “Massage on the Go” sessions offered by the Student Activities Board (SAB) this semester that take place in the evening at campus dining halls. Students from the Lexington Healing Arts Academy will be in Blazer Dining Hall to give free five minute massages.
“College can be stressful and we realize that most students are constantly on the go. ‘Massage on the Go’ is a way to relax and not have to go completely out of your way to do it,” said Director of Campus Life Committee Aimee Glindmeyer.
Massage therapy is a great way to reduce stress, improve range of motion, enhance immunity by stimulating lymph flow and lessen depression and anxiety among many other benefits.
