UK Arts in HealthCare Invites You to Experience Sound Healing

LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 10, 2017)UK Arts in HealthCare invites you to join internationally renowned sound healers, and back-to-back Best New Age Album of the Year Award winners, Paradiso and Rasamayi in a unique, powerful and transformative meditative concert at 7 p.m. on March 31 in the UK Chandler Hospital Pavilion A Auditorium.

Paradiso and Rasamayi will demonstrate how the spiritual soundscapes they create allow listeners to experience profound meditation and the healing of emotional and physical ailments. Their one of kind sounds express their passion and dedication to serving and healing.

Those interested will can also participate in a workshop at 11 a.m. on April 1 and learn from the duo to adopt and utilize some of the same musical elements into their lives and the lives of those they care for. Participants in the Healing the Divine Call workshop will learn how music can serve as a healing tool and provide an opportunity to create a meditative state. While this workshop is free and open to the public, limited spaces are available and participants must RSVP with Sarah Timmons at sarah.timmons@uky.edu or by phone at 859-323-4446.

Paradiso and Rasamayi travel and share their skills because, “Sound is a gift, unlocking our divine capacity for unlimited manifestation. It is also a responsibility: as we enjoy that capacity for manifestation, we notice that sooner or later, everything we speak comes into being.”

The Sound Healing concert is free and open to the public. The Healing the Divine Call workshop will be held in room 136 of the UK School of Arts and Visual Studies building on Bolivar.
