UK Hoops Opens 36th Season Against Boston
The Kentucky women's basketball team opens "Year Three" of the Matthew Mitchell era and its 36th season of varsity women's basketball when it plays host to first-time opponent Boston University Friday, Nov. 13 in Memorial Coliseum. Tip-off is scheduled for an unusual 11 a.m. EST start as it will mark the nation's first Division I women's basketball game of the 2009-10 season. The game will be carried live on the Big Blue Sports Network (radio) with Neil Price.
