Faculty, Staff Invited to Halloween BOOne-anza Oct. 31
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 24, 2018) ―University of Kentucky faculty and staff are invited to the fifth annual Halloween BOOne-anza costume party, hosted by the Hilary J. Boone Center, from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31.
Festivities will include a devilishly delicious lunch buffet, costume contest and trick-or-treating with partner vendors. Prizes will be awarded for the best costume after voting ends at 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, and the BOOne-anza Best Spirit Award will be given to the department whose table shows the best spirit (costumes considered) at the event.
To compete in the costume contest, register by clicking here. Check-in for costume contestants begins at 11:15 a.m. Oct. 31. Following the event, anyone may vote for their favorites on the Boone Center’s Facebook page.
To make reservations for the lunch buffet, contact the Boone Center at 859-257-1133 by 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29. Departments may reserve a table for up to eight people, and individuals may also reserve spots. The cost for this spooktacular affair, lunch included, is $13 plus service charge and tax.
